KP Custom Finishes’s hardwood Reducer is used to connect two rooms with different floor heights professionally. The reducer provides the proper connection between one room’s flooring height to the next, such as under the door frame moving from the balcony to the living room.
Reducer pieces are stained with a custom blend and then sealed for a factory-like finish. Wood has natural variation and grain that prevents a perfect match. We will make the custom stain blend as close as possible to complement the purchased flooring.
